Répertoire International des Sources Musicales (RISM)
 
         
  International Inventory of Musical Sources is an international non-profit organization, founded in Paris in 1952.
 
The aim of RISM is documenting musical sources i.e. prints and manuscripts, works of music theory and libretti found in archives and libraries all over the world.
 
Over 100 researchers in 32 countries are involved in the RISM project. The RISM Central Editing Office is located in Frankfurt am Main. ( Visit page )
  RISM working groups in Poland: National Library of Poland (Polish RISM Centre), University of Warsaw, University of Wrocław, Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań, The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, The Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk.
